Rental solutions for temporary water displacement and water management.

Our mobile pump installations are built from high-quality components and pumps from renowned manufacturers such as Caterpillar, Vacon, ABB, Sulzer, Nijhuis and Pentair. These pumps are integrated by our engineers into robust, mobile installations that are fully customized to practical needs. As a result, we combine the reliability of proven pump technology with the flexibility of a complete project solution.

Looking for the rental of pumps? Depending on the application, we use different pump types, including submersible pumps, semi-axial pumps, split case pumps and shaft pumps. This allows us to deliver the right combination of capacity, head, and efficiency for almost any situation.

Smart control and monitoring

Our pump installations are equipped with advanced control and monitoring systems, which allow the performance to be continuously monitored and optimized. Depending on the application, installations can be remotely read, operated, and adjusted. As a result, current data such as flow rate, pressure, water level, engine data, and fault reports are always accessible.

Thanks to this smart control we can respond quickly to changing conditions, increase operational reliability, and prevent unplanned downtime. If desired, our specialists automatically receive notifications of deviations, so that immediate action can be taken. In this way, we offer not only reliable pump installations but also maximum control and continuity throughout the entire project.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

We understand that you may have some questions about our services and products. That's why we have compiled the most frequently asked questions and their answers for you. Do you have more questions? Feel free to contact us, we'd be happy to help!

What types of pump installations does Van Heck offer?

We offer a broad fleet of electric and diesel-driven pump sets. Pumps with a capacity of 1500m3/h up to pumps with a flow rate of 12,000m3/h. We have both dry and wet installed pumps.

What is a siphon?

Simply put, a siphon is a tube with both ends in the water. Water flows from high to low. If you want to move water from A to B and you have a height difference, you can divert water from high to low. We do this too but on a large scale! This is also used to empty an aquarium or to let gasoline flow into a scooter tank.

In which sectors is Van Heck active?

We originated from the dredging industry, and over the past 60 years, we have specialized in moving water for Governments and water boards, Ground, road, and water builders, civil contractors, industrial and offshore clients. In emergencies, we can quickly pivot.

What makes Van Heck unique in water management?

From industrial to civil projects, from local water management to projects in Australia; we serve the global market with our volume and high pressure pumps. With our power and innovation, we come to the best custom solutions.

What exactly does Van Heck Group do?

Van Heck Group specializes in water management and displacement, especially for large volumes or high pressures. They are active in various sectors such as dredging, offshore wind projects, sewer renovations, cooling water systems, and infrastructure projects.

Does Van Heck also offer pump installations for sale?

Yes and no. We design and build all our mobile pump installations ourselves. Our pump sets are based on more than 60 years of experience and innovation and are developed to function under the most extreme conditions from desert heat to cold climates. As a result, our installations are often over-engineered for standard applications. Also, our frequency converters are specially designed to work with different electric pumps and configurations. For this reason, we do not sell our standard rental pumps. However, we can think along with specific requests for custom pump sets for a particular application. We have been building the Van Heck Screw Pump for more than 60 years, which is frequently used by water boards. Additionally, we are importers of a pump supplier from whom we source our pumps. Do you have a specific question or application? Feel free to contact our sales team to discuss the possibilities.

How does the rental process work at Van Heck?

As soon as we receive a request, our project managers immediately proceed to assess the required pump or siphon capacity. We consider the location, water levels, requested flow rates, heights, available power supply, and project-specific requirements and wishes. If necessary, we measure the location with GPS. We gather information based on provided drawings and sketches. We work out a plan and then the rental offer is prepared with a detailed cost calculation. After approval, our engineers in work preparation proceed with the technical execution of the plan. 3D drawings, packing lists, electrical diagrams, custom designs, custom parts are made. Once the transport planning is also made, the equipment is transported. Our experienced technicians set up the installation according to plan and commission it. The pump installations are continuously monitored in operation, and if there is a failure, our 24/7 breakdown service receives an alert immediately and takes action if necessary. After the successful completion of the project, the pumps are dismantled as planned and transported back to our facility in Noordwolde. Here, all materials are inspected and prepared for the next job.

How quickly can Van Heck respond to a project request?

After receiving the request, we immediately contact the customer to discuss the project.

How quickly can Van Heck mobilize?

In the event of an emergency, we initiate the emergency procedure, involving the entire team. Depending on the situation, location, and circumstances, we can start transporting the equipment within a few hours.
