Temporary pumping capacity at a unique location

A gem of a project
Some projects immediately stand out due to the combination of technology, collaboration, and location. This project was a prime example of that.
In collaboration with Schouls BV, we realized a temporary pumping installation to take over half of the pumping station's capacity during maintenance work.
Matching 5,100 m³ per hour
The existing pumps of the pumping station each process 5,100 m³ per hour. With one of our electrically powered submersible pumps, we could fully match this capacity. This ensured water discharge remained guaranteed during the work, allowing the pumping station to stay operational.
Stable placement on irregular bottom structure
The pump installation was placed not far from the quay, hence the ground still sloped at the location of the temporary pump. This pump, with its adjustable legs, was ideally suited for placement in front of the pumping station in the water.
Network congestion
This pumping station is located on a relatively heavily loaded power grid. To prevent issues related to network congestion, we took additional measures to prevent malfunctions.
In addition to the technical execution, it was also a project at a beautiful location. A combination that resulted in impressive images and a great end result.
A successful collaboration, a special pumping station, and once again a fine example of temporary water relocation at a high level.
